Please avoid application of any skin topical medications, gels, lotions, oils, salves, etc. as this may cause skin reactions, damage the equipment and lessen the efficacy of the session. 

Ensure that the animal(s) is well hydrated before and after the session. 

Inform the PEMF practitioner of any microchips, metal implants or hardware such as screws, rods, plates, etc. Microchips are considered safe to receive PEMF. 

Consult with your practicing licensed veterinarian if you are unsure if PEMF therapy is right for your animal(s).
